Je suis inspiree par la violence faite aux femmes car voyez-vous il y a pas mal de femmes qui sont victimes partout dans leur foyer, leur travail parce qu'elles sont des femmes. Particulièrement dans mon pays ces abus sont très courants et c'est pour cela que je me suis engagée dans le mouvement feministe afin de faire respecter les droits des femmes partout ailleurs. I am inspired by the beauty of nature, watching the sunrise in the early morning, the growth of plants from seeds to harvest, and star filled nights. I had the privilege of living and working in the small coffee producing community of Los Cacaos in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. With my love of nature and my background in organic agriculture this experience inspires me daily as to the joys of working in solidarity with people who are making positive changes in the world.
